Hi I'm Chalisa, thanks for stopping by...

I have been creating art since moving to Melbourne in 2005 predominately with Acrylic medium. My art training began in the 90’s firstly at the University of South Australia studying fine arts, photography and jewellery then through my fashion design and illustration studies at Marleston College, Adelaide.

I love combining my passions for colour, abstract imagery and nature in my art - blending impressionism and surrealist styles. Many of my artworks are nature and sea inspired with experimentation being at the forefront of my evolution as an artist.

My creative process begins with either a subject matter or a specific color palette and I seek inspiration in nature.  I love the process of evolving and growing as an artist.
