Hi I'm Chalisa, thanks for stopping by!

I am an artist based in Torquay on Victoria’s Surf Coast, where I have been consistently creating nature-inspired art since relocating in 2005. My formal training began in the 1990s at the University of South Australia, where I studied Visual Arts, followed by further studies in fashion design and illustration.

Deeply inspired by the ocean, my work expresses my love for the natural world through bold colour palettes and a fusion of abstract, impressionistic, and surrealist elements. My paintings are predominantly ocean and nature inspired, with experimentation and curiosity at the heart of my evolving artistic practice. Through my art, I seek to share the magic of the ocean and highlight its importance, inviting viewers to feel a deeper sense of connection and care for the natural world.
